Hmm, JC life is getting really funny...
First : I feel like my life is being drained out from me and i totally have no time for leisure!!!
Second : It's really odd that things that dont matter to me last time seem to matter more, and things that i like a lot seem less attractive now. i.e : things like making mother's day card seem more impt and things like playing computer games seem so sianz now lol.
Well, it's good isn't it? Removing something that's not useful in life and replacing it with such, now, that's really something to be happy about yeah?
Other aspects like sports became something more impt for me. (but im definitely not forgoing my computer games...though i seriously haven't got much time to play...)

Anyway, i presume you can see how busy i can get...lol, it's been like 3weeks since i blogged? hmmmmm

How cool is this. Im supposed to do a JC1 A level Project Work and i came out with this idea. Seems really funny yet practical...So, well i found it kinda cool =) thus posting it for you'all to see lol.

Preliminary Idea
Project Task 2: New Perspectives
Removal of toilet wastes using biodegradable bags

Reason for the Choice of Topic:
The reason for choosing this topic is to implement a new way of clearing wastes from our daily toilet usages without any or little consumption of water in Singapore, reason being Singapore is a country that is currently facing the problem of water-shortage.
In this way, Singapore can reduce consumption of water by a great amount as in a single flush; much of the water is gone to waste. Although Singapore has started on it’s water purification plants to convert this waste water into NEWater. However, based on the response of Singaporeans towards this issue, it goes to show that consumption rate of NEWater will not reach Singapore’s expected amount. Thus, the practical way is to reduce a source of water wastage.
Feasibility of the Project:
This project can be done simply by having the flushing system in toilets removed and replacing it with a system that allows wastes to go straight into plastic biodegradable bags, and once the bag is full, just tie it up and send it down a pipe utilizing the vacuum suction into the sewage system.
Though this may cost a bit more due to some implementation of better technology as compared to the normal flushing system, but more or less it will account for the reduced cost of water usage.
This project can be done easily by making use of the new technology of using plastic biodegradable bags that is currently available and taking the idea of a vacuum cleaner suction force to bring the bags down into the sewage system.
This can be proposed to the government by requesting a trial to see the effectiveness of this new system. A set-up can be made to test it.
Manageability of the Project:
The scope of this project simply focuses on the changing of the flushing system in the toilet. Therefore, it is not too broad a topic. So, the project is easily manageable.
Accessibility of the Information Required:
Information on biodegradable bags can be easily found over the internet while the information on the vacuum suction can be found in books or likewise, over the internet – to see if this can be used.
Other information required is the cost of using the new system as compared to the old flushing system (with water usage cost included). If it is more expensive, then it will not be very practical as consumers would not want to pay more to satisfy the same need.

No no no no no! Why did they choose that!! What we want is casiNO not a casino...the theme park would have been a better choice...sighhh...guess there's no turning back eh.?

The problems that will arise from having a casino in Singapore are way too many so why did the government still choose to have it...bleahx...You see, in other countries where in a single country has many states, but only 1 state has casinos(take for example Las Vegas). That state is referred to something like a Gambling state. However, in Singapore, we are small like a state but the difference is it's a country not a state. So what happens when we have a casino? Will Singapore then be called a gambling country?

Even before the completion of the casiNO, i cant bear to think how many families will be broken, how many lives will be lost(in darkness), how crime rate will rise, how you and i will feel seeing friends and families in trouble...

So what!? If having this casiNO will open 10,000 more job spaces for people, so what!? if it brings revenue to the country... Comparing what we lose to what we gain? Is it worth it? There are alternatives to gain revenue, there are alternatives to provide jobs, but are there ways to patch up broken families? Are there ways for the middle-income group of people to return sums they will never attain in their lifetime?
Sighhhhhhh

Why do some(or rather "A LOT of") people like to compare with each other about how bad their life is and sorts along that line?
Well if you dont get it, i'll give you an example
Guy A : i have tons of work
Guy B : i have a lot too
Guy A : I have like Maths, F maths, econs blabla
and Guy B will start saying he's got what what what and both will start comparing who's got more.

Amusing isn't it? Why are people being so proud about how much worse off they are as compared to their partners?

If you're part of this group of people(im including myself), why not just change a bit and compare how much better off you are as compared to your friends? I believe first of all, it will ease the tension that's building up in the air or secondly, you may feel much better after the discussion.(at least i do)

So, just be different the next time when such a situation comes by again. If it works, good for you but if it doesn't, i wonder what i can say... heh.

Ever wonder about what people would do just to get others to like them?
A very simple example would be the elections we see going on around the world. MPs start campaigning to get the votes they want, in fact, it's perfectly alright that these people just pop by each of our houses and pour some nice words/greetings then finally hints us to vote for them. However, i get somehow disturbed by the fact that they even resort to giving "goodies" or simply put it - gifts(with a purpose that neednt be mentioned).

Now, in my new school(Nanyang Junior College), a Student Councillor election is about to take place and likewise, each candidate has to campaign to get the votes they want except the difference now is, that our government is on a society level but this is simply just on a school level. In other words, hardly will anyone resort to giving "goodies"(that costs considerably lot).

And now comes the good part, i know of a few candidates who used to be introverts(well not to the extreme extend) now start to put on a false personality(all cheerful and you know - a crowd pleaser). It's really sad that some of these people will become Student Councillors not based on their leadership skills but simply on their social skills(not saying this is not an important aspect though) or popularity...

Disturbing it is, the fact that potential is being substituted for popularity...Sighhh

Fortunately or unfortunately, im back! =)
Wonder how that's ever going to make any1 happy except myself -_-".
Aint started with anything yet, so you people just chill and it'll be up in a jiffy :D
